  1. You are on the right track about how businesses handle themselves theser days. However, unknown to most of the general public, these monopolies in things like utilities and cable are actually created by government regulation. Capitalism as you know it is not actually capitalism. Capitalism requires the use of a free market, but that is not the case here. Our government is currently controlled by a banking cartel. Their interests are made visible by the laws that do and do not get passed. With such a strong hold on the government and industry (through the managing of the money) the free market cannot exist. Instead of having supply and demand, along logical responses to substandard services and treatment, we have severe manipulation of the supply and demand system and almost complete consumer exclusion from the whole process. This kind of warped system is advantageous only for a few, and these few are essentially sucking out the blood of the the rest of the population and them laughing about it because think you cannot do a thing about it. It is true that as long as people do not even understand the basics of economics, let alone what is actually happneing in our economic system, then we are helpless. I strongly suggest that you check out the End the Fed book by Ron Paul that just came out last month. It’s a primer for how we got where we are and why it NEEDS to be changed.
